What to Expect on Your Giza Pyramids Tour

Your guide and driver pick you up at your hotel in Cairo or Giza in the morning. On the Giza Plateau you start at the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest of the three, while your Egyptologist explains how and why the pyramids were built. Next you visit the Pyramid of Khafre and the smaller Pyramid of Menkaure, then drive to the panoramic viewpoint for the classic photo of all three pyramids together. If you like, you can take a camel ride here. The tour ends at the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre, where the king's body was prepared for burial, before you return to your hotel.
