The Journey
Day 1 | Aswan · Sailing the Nile · Overnight on a Private Island
At 8:30 am, your Khonsu Tours manager collects you from your chosen address in Aswan and welcomes you aboard your private felucca. For the next 10–12 hours, you sail quietly north along the Nile toward Kom Ombo – tea and soft drinks offered as the riverbanks drift by, lunch served aboard by your private crew. As the sun begins to set, your felucca moors at a secluded island for the night. Walk the quiet shoreline as the sky turns gold, then dinner is served beneath the open air – before you fall asleep on deck under an unbroken canopy of stars.
Day 2 | Kom Ombo · Edfu · Luxor
Wake to a private breakfast on board as your felucca completes its final stretch into Kom Ombo. From here, continue by private air-conditioned vehicle for a guided visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, where mummified crocodiles still rest in quiet halls. Onward to Edfu, home to the Temple of Horus – the most completely preserved temple in all of Egypt – for a private guided tour. From here, your journey ends where you choose in Luxor, delivered privately to your address.
